Description
A guided Scenic Photo Safari toward the Camino Mal Paso. We leave Córdoba at 8:00, passing through Carlos Paz and climbing into the high mountains along the winding Altas Cumbres road (Provincial Route 34).
On reaching the Paso de las Piedras river ford, we transfer to 4×4 vehicles to begin the safari. Over about 30 km we stop at stations and landmark points, perfect for capturing photos of the majestic high-mountain setting.
Our guides share the history and magic of each place. We take you to the imposing Balcón Sur viewpoint, where you can relax with some mate while we prepare a field lunch. After the photo session, we head back to Córdoba.

What's the best light for photographing the Altas Cumbres?
Early morning and sunset offer warm light and long shadows that bring out the mountain's relief. Around midday the sky tends to be clearer, ideal for wide shots from lookouts like Balcón Sur.
Any tips for the safari's photos and videos?
Alternate close-ups of textures (rock, grassland, flowers) with wide shots of the mountain horizon. For video, film slow movements from the 4x4 and steady your gear or use a small tripod to keep the image stable.
