Tips & guide

Everything you want to know before you go

When is the best time to see condors in Córdoba?

Condors can be seen all year round. The best conditions come on clear spring and autumn mornings, when the sun warms the rock walls and the thermals condors use to glide start to form. With a light breeze and around midday, you'll usually catch the best flights.

How do I take better photos and videos of condors in flight?

Use a telephoto lens or your phone's maximum zoom and shoot in burst mode so you don't miss the moment. For video, turn on stabilisation and follow the bird with a slow, steady motion. Side-lit morning light brings out the wings of South America's largest bird.
